This policy explains how Maximum English LLC dba First Coast APA ("we", "us"), the local franchise of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) pool league, collects and uses information on this tournament website and through our tournament text alerts.
Information we collect
- Registration details: team name, each player's name and APA skill level, and the cell phone numbers you enter.
- Text alert consent: whether each player agreed to receive text alerts, and when.
- Tournament activity: check-ins, scores, match results, chip counts and payouts.
- Technical data: a cookie that keeps you signed in to your team page or the director page. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To run the tournament: registration, the waiting list, pairings, table assignments, scoring, chip counts and payouts.
- To send tournament text alerts to players who agreed to receive them (see the Terms & Conditions).
- To answer your questions and keep accurate tournament records.
Team names, player names, skill levels, chip counts and results are shown on the public tournament pages. Phone numbers are never shown publicly; only the tournament director can see them.
Text messaging and your phone number
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and text consent collected for tournament alerts are used only to send those alerts. We share phone numbers only with our text message provider (Twilio) to deliver the messages, and as required by law.
You can stop text alerts at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
Service providers
This website is hosted by Render, and text messages are delivered by Twilio. They process information only to provide those services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep a tournament's information while it's running and for as long as needed to settle payouts and records afterward, then delete it.
Your choices
You can update your roster and cell number on your team page with your team PIN, or ask us to correct or delete your information by contacting us below.
