The format
How a chip tournament works
See the rules tab for specific game rules.
- Every team starts with chips based on its partners' combined skill level.
- The first matches are a random draw. Each match is a race to 2.
- Win and you keep your chips and go to the bottom of the winners list. Lose and you give one chip back to the main table and go to the bottom of the losers list.
- As soon as a table is free, the top two teams on a list play: winner 1 vs winner 2, loser 1 vs loser 2. Teams that have fallen behind on matches move up the list.
- Run out of chips and you're out.
- Chip value = pot ÷ chips still in play, so every chip lost to the table makes yours worth more.
- Once cash-in opens you can cash in your chips or keep playing.
- At last call, your next match is your last. When it's over you're cashed in automatically. If you're on a table when last call happens, finish that match first, then play one more.
